We are urgently looking for a Trainer – Workplace Coach in the mining sector who is a go-getter, self-starter, and ready to hit the ground running! If you have a passion for mentorship and skills development in open cast mining, this role is for you!
Requirements:
- National Senior Certificate
- Diploma in Training/Development Practices
- Assessor, Facilitator, and Moderator certifications
- Strong training & development expertise
- Knowledge of Codes of Practice (COPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office & digital recordkeeping
- Strong communication & mentorship abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Valid driver’s license
- 8+ years of experience in the open cast mining industry
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Facilitation – Conduct training sessions to upskill employees and ensure competency in site operations
- Mentorship – Provide hands-on guidance and coaching to mentees, aligning with company training requirements
- Assessments – Evaluate mentees' progress, track key performance indicators (KPAs), and revise training plans based on skill gaps
- Administration & Record Keeping – Maintain training records, compile reports, and document employee development
