Busy Asian Restaurant based in Sandton is looking for a Wok Chef to run their stir-fry station, managing high-heat, high-speed cooking with consistent seasoning and plating standards, preparing ingredients, and maintaining kitchen safety.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:
 
Handle high-speed, high-heat wok and stir-fry operations.
Chop vegetables, slice meats, and mix sauces.
Present food cleanly and fast according to recipes.
Keep the work area tidy and follow safety rules.
Restock items and use proper rotation methods.
 
Requirements:
 
Grade 12
A formal qualification will be an advantage
At least 2 to 3 years working in fast-paced Asian or hot kitchens.
Knowledge of high-heat techniques and tossing skills.
Knife skills: Cut ingredients quickly and safely.
Speed and focus: Work well under pressure during busy hours
