POSITION INFO:

Witbank, Mpumalanga: OPERATIONS MANAGER (Plant & Equipment Hire)

Minimum Requirements:

-Mature and professional individual aged late 50/60’s

-Must have industry and business operations experience

-Artisan or Construction Equipment Training Officer qualification obtained (Multi Skilled Machine Operator)

-20+ years of experience in both the construction and mining sector, with a preference for underground coal mining experience.

-Experienced in running own construction and plant hire business preferred / advantageous

-Proven supervisory work experience

-Experience operating heavy mobile machinery including (Front End Loaders, TLB, ADT’s, LHD’s and Dump Trucks)

-Residing in Witbank area preferred

-Stable employment record and contactable reference

-To start as soon as possible

Duties:

-Full operations Management for Plant & Equipment Hire Company

-Oversee daily operations of plant hire operations

-Servicing clients in Witbank, Welkom and Rustenburg

-Utilisation of plant fleet

-Utilisation targets of 300 hours per month per machine

-Maintain zero Incidence rate and full compliance of personal and machines

Salary: R 20 000 gross – R 25 000.00 gross
