Job description:

Wireline Field Operator will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that the Logging Unit is ready to run with all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems fully functional at all times. Rig Up gear, Compensated Sheaves, DWMD (add Kerr Measure heads), Load cells & Meters Trolex (add Collectors), Toolbox, Fishing box, Lift Certification needed for the job are in a ready state for all planned jobs.
• Communicates safety issues to each crew member and engineer/specialist is aware of their responsibilities and obligations regarding safety at the worksite.
• Actively participates in the on-the-job safety observation processes.
• Maintains an accurate inventory of all rig equipment supplies needed at the worksite and in doghouses to support planned operations.
• Special skills and competencies in Pipe Conveyed Logging; TCP Operations; Seismic Competencies and working with Pressure Control Equipment’s will be an advantage
• He maintains Winching/wrap diagrams, Well diagrams, cable speed, and Winching weight at stations, Winching tension, and hoisting safely.
• Maintain Wireline cables Cable records & Drum bearings maintenance on the job and has the ability to do re-head on all types of cables to the cable head needed to run the job
• Works with rig hands-on manual handling and placement of equipment on the well site locations
• Performs Wireline drum changes with rig crew and other Wireline crew members.
• Ensures all equipment is safely loaded and secured ready for transport.
• Assists in effective problem follow up and closure
• Communicate effectively with well site/project Completion/Work Over Engineers on a daily and as-needed basis, and make recommendations to engineers to optimize performance
• Proven ability to run all types of Wireline hoists Offshore Units.
• Meticulous in pre-job planning information gathering & job inventory checklist management to ensure the right spares equipment are available to support job load-outs
• Ensure that all job problems lessons learned are captured to improve future operations on all services to be provided for all our customers, ensure Logging Unit and equipment are ready to go for the next set jobs.
