Wireless Technician

Minimum requirements:

• Valid driver’s licence and own transport
• Office and field work required
• Relevant tertiary education and industry certifications.
• Complementary training\experience or Certification on Mikrotik Ufibre and Ubiquity products.
• 1 year of practical experience in data fibre or wireless field, and experience in an installation environment.
• Experience in deployment for the following applications: Mikrotik Ufibre and Ubiquity wireless
• Familiarity with Microsoft Operating Systems (All IOS) and software tools such as FTP, Telnet, TFTP, HyperTerminal, etc.
• Experience in providing technical systems support, strong customer focus, interpersonal, co-ordination and communication skills
• Knowledge (basic) of telephony communication protocols such as QSIG/DPNSS/SIP/VOIP..
• In-depth knowledge of System maintenance procedures and practice.
• In-depth knowledge of operational requirements and practices.
• MS Office applications expertise
• MS Project application expertise
• MS Visio application knowledge
• MS Outlook
• Internet
• Basic Business process analysis knowledge
• Project Management basic knowledge
• Clarity in communication (patience, willing to help)
• Ability to work under stress
• Able to work shifts/standby
• Proficient in relevant computer applications
• Working Hours (Office based): Monday-Friday, 08h00-16h30

One week per month: Monday-Thursday, 15h00-20h00 (Friday off, on duty again the Saturday and Sunday, 08h00-13h00)
