Wholesale Manager (Queenstown)

POSITION INFO:

Wholesale Manager required for company in the meat industry based in Queenstown.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in position of Dispatch Manager
• Experience with loading more than 8 trucks daily
• Advantageous to have worked in meat industry & have knowledge of beef, pork & mutton carcasses, grading, swinging cuts & primal’s
• Valid Driver’s license & own transport.
• Hard working & not scared to put in the extra hours when needed
• English a must. Afrikaans & Xhosa will be advantageous
• Must be able to manage staff of over +- 40 to 50 (drivers, jumpers & loaders)
• Must have had experience with good stock controls & stock rotation
• Good people skills, planning skills & problem-solving skills.
• Advantageous to have knowledge of Eastern Cape for distribution
• Must be willing to be based in Queenstown
