Our client in the medical supplies industry is seeking to fill a field technical position in its service division. The successful applicant will report to the Service manager.

Western Cape Sales and Service Technician- Randburg -Gauteng

Our client in the medical supplies industry is seeking to fill a field technical position in its service division. The successful applicant will report to the Service manager.

Responsibilities and duties:

Manage a territory Inspecting, analysing, and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
Reading repair manuals.
Liaising with other clinical and engineering professional while maintaining relationships Completing hospital audits.
Negotiate contracts Meeting targets Analysing data to make effective recommendations.
Writing up reports, completing job cards and compiling preventative maintenance plans.
Handling of spare part inventory.
Repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
Providing labour and material cost estimates before starting a job.
Maintain market awareness Facilitate end-user and technical training.
Pre-Sales Support After-Sales Support Product

Development Qualification and Skills

A relevant technical qualification – certificate, trade test, diploma or degree
Experience as a technician.
A driver''s license.
Ability to multitask and liaise with professionals in different fields.
