Wellness Manager Knysna

Beautiful Nature spa situated at our Nature Hotel in Knysna is looking for a Wellness Manager. 

The Wellness Manager is responsible for the overall effective and efficient running of the spa on all properties allocated to you.  Managing and leading team members reporting to you to provide the best service and treatments possible for clients.  Treat all clients and staff with the utmost professionalism and care to create an inviting and calm atmosphere. 

Minimum requirements

Education and experience:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Beauty Therapy diploma, preferably CIDESCO, SAAHSP, ITEC or Somatology
• Minimum 8 years in the industry
• Minimum 2 years in a management role
• Above average computer skills
• Basic knowledge of OPERA and ESP systems advantageous

Responsibilities:

• Must be familiar with all spa therapies, products and services 
• Carry out accurate skin analysis
• Present treatment and product training
• Maintain a high level of spa hygiene
• Stock ordering, deliveries and control
• Clear understanding of the business finances and signing off monthly management accounts.
• Build and maintain client relationships and communicate any specials or points of interest. 
• Sales and marketing
• Mentorship and team support
• Guest reviews and complaints
• Quality Management
