Job Description

We are seeking a Welding Robot Operator with genuine hands-on experience operating robotic welding systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust robotic welding systems.

• Operate welding robots.

• Load components.

• Monitor the welding process.

• Make minor adjustments.

• Perform first-line troubleshooting.

• Conduct quality inspections.

• Read technical drawings.

Requirements

• 28 years old or younger.

• Preferably native Afrikaans-speaking or able to communicate fluently/conversationally in Afrikaans.

• Good English communication skills.

• Relevant technical qualification or trade.

• Proven robotic welding experience.

• Experience with setup and adjustment.

• Experience monitoring automated welding processes.

• First-line troubleshooting ability.

• Technical drawing experience.

• Willing to relocate internationally.

Advantageous

• Sheet-metal experience.

• Metal fabrication experience.

• Machine building.

• Aerospace.

• Precision manufacturing.

• Advanced fabrication.

Important: Manual TIG/MIG welding experience without robotic welding experience is not sufficient.
