Weighbridge Operator

SUMMARY:
Our client, a well-established oil manufacturing company based in Nasrec, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support its operations team. This role involves critical administrative support in truck scheduling, weighbridge operations, stock control, and general logistics administration.

POSITION INFO:

• Check-in and logging of drivers'' details as they come in and out of the weighbridge.
• Give drivers tickets when they arrive and leave.
• Update the ticketing systems.
• Fulfil the inspection checklist.
• Operate the weighbridge and ensure all trucks are directed to the correct area for offloading.
• Ensure the weighbridge is clean and clear at all times.
• Record all vehicle movements (weigh-in, weigh-out).
• Ensure stock information is updated via the weighbridge system for procurement purposes.
• Capture key information and produce updated weighbridge spreadsheets.
• Maintain the weighbridge and general area of the weighbridge.
• Ensure accurate capturing of weights as per standard operating procedures.
• Answer the site telephone and direct calls as appropriate.
• Assist with filing and other administrative duties as required.
• Remain up to date with telephone and office etiquette techniques.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks or requests as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
• Coordinate raw materials.
