Warehouse supervisor

SUMMARY:
A large company in the Manufacturing industry, based in Gauteng, South Africa is currently looking for an Influential and dynamic job seeker to join their premium team in the role of a Warehouse supervisor.

POSITION INFO:

Job & Company Description:

• The most important function of this role is to Supervise Warehouse staff and to ensure departmental procedures are followed in order to maintain accuracy of finished goods in the Warehouse          
• Take action and report any goods damaged in transit inventory immediately by informing relevant sender and remove stock physically and from the system (Write off or return to sender) within 24 hours        
• Ensure Pickers and packers use efficient methods of picking accurately
• Manage the stock take process for Cape Town branch by ensuring enough resources are available in terms of staff and stationery
• Train and develop staff as well as enforce disciplinary action when required

Minimum educational requirement:

Diploma in Logistics/ Supply chain or similar

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• The successful candidate will have 3-5 years’ experience in a similar Warehouse position
