POSITION INFO:

Key Performance areas

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Supervise stock control, including receiving, storage, and dispatching, while minimizing damages, losses, and discrepancies.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, investigate, and resolve discrepancies and oversee periodic stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Plan and manage logistics to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
• Maintain accurate stock transaction records on the computer system.
• Ensure proper maintenance of warehouse infrastructure, equipment and fleet.
• Lead, train and support a professional, customer-focused warehouse team.

Required qualifications/ experience:

• Matric (Grade12) or equivalent (post-matric qualification is an advantage)
• At least two years warehouse, logistics, and stock control experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent attention to detail with formidable organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to work extended hours/shifts to meet customer requirements.
