SUMMARY:

Umbilo, Durban. Opportunity exists for Warehouse Supervisor responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operational activities of the Warehouse of a Logistics company.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Ensure company policies and procedures; custom regulations; legal and ethical compliance; Health and Safety regulations, etc. are implemented and maintained
Overseeing Warehouse and Transport processes, security, and maintenance
Overseeing job flow and activities of staff
Participating in negotiations, customer management and service
Overseeing and managing inventory controls
Participating in budget controls
Performing report analysis
Overseeing people management
Build stakeholder relationships to ensure the Company’s value chain is maintained at optimum levels
Oversee warehouse security and maintenance to ensure quality storage and delivery of customer goods
Perform general administration to ensure smooth business operations

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail
Excellent planning and organisational skills
High level of integrity and adherence to the standards, values, and rules of conduct
