Warehouse Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Multinational Logistics provider seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor reporting to the Warehouse Manager to overseeing and managing the daily operational activities of the Warehouse.

POSITION INFO:

Purpose of Job

• Company policies and procedures; Custom regulations; Legal and Ethical compliance; Health and Safety regulations, etc. are implemented and maintained.
• Overseeing Warehouse and Transport processes, security, and maintenance.
• Overseeing Job flow and activities of Staff
• Participating in Negotiations, Customer Management and Service.
• Overseeing and managing Inventory controls
• Participating in Budget Controls.
• Performing Report analysis.
• Overseeing People Management

Duties include:

• Plan and implement operational activities to ensure optimal Staff productivity and the Company meet its objectives
• Manage and maintain inventory controls to ensure Goods are received and dispatched adequately
• Build Stakeholder Relationships to ensure the Company’s value chain is maintained at optimum levels.
• Review, prepare and manage budget controls to sustain the Company profitability
• Perform analysis and reporting to minimise variances and improve performance
• Oversee warehouse security and maintenance to ensure quality storage and delivery of Customer Goods
• Advocate and abide by all Health and Safety regulations to ensure the protective well-being of all
• Develop a process to attract, retain and sustain human capital to ensure the best person-Company fit
• Perform general administration to ensure smooth business operations
