PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Controller for a Fixed Term Contract (6 Months) based in Cato Ridge, eThekwini, Durban, Kwazulu Natal. Experience in a large, high pressurised environment essential, logistics and manufacturing experience advantageous. This position report to the Logistics Section in Charge, with the primary functions being, managing safety, 5’s, maintain stock accuracy and accurate and timely loading of vehicles.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 – Non-Negotiable
• 3-5 years of experience working in a Warehouse and/or Manufacturing Environment.
• Any post matric related qualification would be an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Oracle would be an advantage.
• Ability to be self-manage and multitask.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to lead and manage the performance of others.
• Timeliness
• Must have own reliable transport.
• Be prepared to work overtime when requested.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Manage Safety incident
• 5 S implementation on warehouse and loading station.
• Forklift checking and on time maintenance.
• Material receiving from packing to finished goods.
• Accurate storing of stock
• Loading preparation as per loading picking slip
• Loading of vehicle as per loading slip in presence of security guard
• Container loading as per packing list & plan
• Lead team on Shift
• Daily handover
