Qualifications / Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 12
• Must be vaccinated – proof required
• Basic computer literacy
• Basic warehouse experience
• Physical strength to move heavy items if required
• Good communication skills
• Ability to adhere to processes and work independently
• Attention to detail, performance driven and a good team player

Key Performance Areas:

• Check orders:

-      All freight orders received from picking must be checked and leave same day

-      All local orders received must be checked and planned for delivery the next day

-      Ensure checking accuracy

• Pack product:

-      Ensure correct information on parcel labels

-      Ensure packing accuracy

• Handle product:

-      Minimal courier rejection of parcels

-      Ensure minimal damages – use appropriate packaging material so as to protect the products in transit

-      Ensure original packaging is displayed by seller

• Handle equipment:

-      Ensure minimal downtime – take reasonable steps to ensure that all equipment is kept in good, working order

-      Ensure adherence to material handling policy

• Adhere to health and safety:

-      Ensure no excess product or damages at checking station at shift end

• Team work:

-      Ensure team achieves productivity and accuracy statistics

-      Be honest with open communication and suggest solutions

-      Be a team player and willing to go the extra mile
