SUMMARY:
Our Brackenfell based client is a leading manufacturer of aluminum doors & windows. They are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to take on a 3 month contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

EMPLOYMENT TYPE :           Temporary
SECTOR                        :           Manufacturing
START DATE :           Immediate

DUTIES:

Receive, pick and dispatch boxed goods
Prepare transport documentation
File and trace transactional documentation
Receive stock and accurate checking of stock from suppliers
Ensure orders are dispatched efficiently daily
Ensure the housekeeping of the warehouse is maintained at all times and health and safety procedures are adhered to
Monthly stock take
Check stock availability on Pastel system
Prepare dispatch documentation and invoices for sales orders
Assist with counter sales and ad hoc duties
Administrative procedures
Electronic equipment and machinery to be maintained, cleaned and kept in working order

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric
3 years’ store / warehouse experience
Good mathematical ability
MS Office + Pastel (non-negotiable)
Experience with stock takes and stock control
