Warehouse Admin Manager

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Logistics industry, has an opportunity available for a Warehouse Admin Manager to be based in the Southern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Minimum 5 years’ experience similar role
• FMCG experience
• Numerate and analytical ability
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Must meet deadlines
• Computer Literacy (MS Office)
• Accellos/GP experience is an Advantage
• Have solid experience with the disciplinary process (issuing warnings, initiating a disciplinary hearing, acting on behalf of the company at the Bargaining council or CCMA)
• Solid experience managing the administrative processes in the Warehouse
• Have a solid background with billing, both manually and systematicallyMust have a strong understanding of how the operation runs in the logistics and Supply chain industry

Duties:

• Ensure required stationary is available for the operation not to be delayed, this includes but are not limited to office stationery, shrink wrap, pallet labels and pre-printed books
• Ensure GIVs and client invoices are compared, and outages identified and rectified before loads are dispatched
• Ensure admin department has sufficient staff coverage and shift plan is for the admin team
• Ensure all outages / concerns are communicated to the logistics manager timeously
• Ensure capturing of CHEP documents are kept up to date and recons done weekly
• Ensure weekly CHEP pallet counts are conducted and submitted weekly
• Stock control
• Stock Maintenance
• Ensure that the 30, 60 and 90-day expiry report is checked and verified daily
• Ensure that all stock adjustments are checked, verified and authorised before posting
• Time Keeping and headcount control
• Housekeeping and Maintenance
• Reports daily to logistics manager regarding activities on premises which includes number of trucks gone out and number of cases sold
