Warehouse Pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic)
Location: Midrand, Gauteng
Salary: R24,000 per month, commensurate with experience
POSITION INFO:
Are you a qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant looking for your next opportunity within a professional pharmaceutical environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to join a dynamic warehouse team where quality, compliance, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Receive, inspect and accurately record incoming pharmaceutical stock
- Monitor batch numbers, expiry dates, temperature and humidity controls
- Pick, pack, verify and prepare pharmaceutical orders for dispatch
- Maintain inventory using FEFO principles and perform regular cycle counts
- Ensure compliance with SAPC regulations, GWP, SOPs and Health & Safety standards
- Manage controlled medicines according to legal requirements
- Assist with warehouse quality checks, audits and regulatory inspections
- Investigate and report inventory variances
- Support customer complaint resolution and maintain excellent housekeeping standards

Minimum Requirements
- Qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post Basic) – non negotiable
- Registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC) – non negotiable
- Minimum 3 years'' experience as a Warehouse Pharmacist Assistant – non negotiable
- Minimum 3 years'' experience in the pharmaceutical industry – non negotiable
- Experience with inventory control and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Good computer literacy
- Knowledge of Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) and cGxP regulations
- Must be able and willing to work shifts – non negotiable
- Valid driver''s licence will be advantageous
