• Read and accurately interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans to understand project requirements.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Setting up component for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
• Verify that the quantities and sizes are correct before commencing with welding and fabrication.
• Operate angel grinder, band saws and other machinery to prepare parts that must be welded.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, etc. and clamp pieces.
• Assemble and tack-weld components into position, ensuring that they are correctly aligned, square, and level before final
