WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR – ALRODE

SUMMARY:
Our client a leading global Mining-Tech company requires an experienced Warehouse Supervisor

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent
• Certificate in Storekeeping/ Stock Control

 Experience and Requirements:

• 5 or more years’ experience in a warehouse environment
• Computer literate –   Advanced skills on Ms Office Suite, an ERP and Accounting system is essential for this position and not negotiable
• Warehousing and Stock control experience is essential
• Be highly organised and able to store items efficiently
• A keen eye for detail is crucial to monitor quality of inventory
• Be physically fit and energetic and able to do heavy lifting
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work independently but also function well as part of a team
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and able to use initiative
• Reside close to Alberton
• Have reliable transport and a valid driver’s licence
• A stable work record and have contactable references
• Pre employment checks will be completed on the successful candidate

 Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure that stock levels are accurate
• Ensure that all inventory is processed, organised, and stored
• Ensure that goods are dispatched timeously
• Oversee that all equipment is cleaned to the set standards with the correct peripheral equipment ready to dispatch
• General office administrative duties
• QHSE Responsibilities
