Videographer & Editor

SUMMARY:
A fast-growing technology and e-commerce organisation is looking for an experienced Videographer & Editor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality video content that strengthens the brand, supports marketing campaigns and drives engagement across digital platforms.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, film and edit high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, product launches, social media, paid advertising, events and internal communications.
• Develop creative concepts, storyboards and shot lists for productions.
• Produce engaging short-form and long-form content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Create platform-specific edits incorporating motion graphics, text animation, transitions, sound design and music.
• Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
• Collaborate with the creative team and internal stakeholders throughout the production process.
• Assist with photoshoots and multimedia productions where required.
• Maintain and manage cameras, lighting, audio and other production equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
• Diploma or tertiary qualification in Film, Video Production, Multimedia or a related field is advantageous.
• Proven experience in videography, video editing and professional camera operation.
• Experience creating content specifically for social media platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Good understanding of lighting, composition, framing and audio.
• Strong storytelling and creative skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to take ownership of projects.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Photography experience.
• Colour grading experience.
• Motion graphics and animation skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted creative tools.
• Previous experience within a marketing or agency environment.
• The role will require occasional travel between offices and to client locations. All approved business-related travel expenses will be reimbursed.
• A reliable mode of transport is essential, with the candidate preferably having their own vehicle.
