About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team in a peaceful farm setting just outside Paarl. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive, nature-filled environment while providing top-quality care to a variety of animals.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures.

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and post-operative care.

Maintain a clean and well-organized clinical environment.

Educate and support pet owners regarding health, nutrition, and post-treatment care.

Assist with diagnostic procedures such as radiography and laboratory tests.

Handle patient admissions, recordkeeping, and inventory management.

Provide compassionate handling and restraint of animals to ensure their comfort and safety.

Support farm animal health and wellness when required.
What We’re Looking For:

A qualified Veterinary Nurse (Diploma or Degree).

Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC).

Passion for animal care and welfare.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a rural setting and embrace a farm lifestyle.

Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.

Previous experience in a mixed practice or small animal hospital is advantageous.
