A reputable and well-established automotive dealership group is seeking an experienced Vehicle Warranty & Costing Clerk to join its Newcastle branch. The business is known for delivering professional service, trusted expertise, and high customer service standards.
Role Purpose
To ensure accurate costing of workshop repair orders, submit warranty claims in accordance with manufacturer processes and procedures, and process supplier invoices efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately cost workshop repair orders
- Submit vehicle warranty claims in line with manufacturer standards and procedures
- Process supplier invoices timeously and accurately
- Ensure all documentation is complete and compliant
- Liaise with workshop, service advisors, parts department, and suppliers
- Maintain accurate records and filing systems
- Resolve claim queries and invoice discrepancies
- Deliver high levels of internal and external customer service
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- Mathematics and Accounting advantageous
- Minimum 2 years’ costing and warranty claims experience within the motor dealership industry
- Computer literate (MS Office Suite)
- Advantageous Requirements
- Knowledge of dealer management systems such as Autoline and Kerridge
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting / Finance
- Experience within a franchised or premium motor dealership environment
