A position has opened for a Vehicle Transport Coordinator with an Eco-friendly, multi award-winning company that provides on-site, dry sanitation toilet systems that function without water or chemicals. It has been designed for the benefit of all Communities and can be installed almost anywhere. You will be responsible for coordinating all transport and logistics. They appreciate and celebrate the diversity of cultures and religions and will ensure that they provide sanitation solutions that meet all cultural and religious requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
Logistics Certificate
Experience working as a Vehicle Transport Coordinator
Strong Organisation skills
Attention to detail
Excellent Communication skills
Advanced Excel knowledge
Advanced Microsoft knowledge

Duties and Responsibilities:
Breakdown Assistance - some overtime may be required
Dealing with In-house deliveries and Collections
Scheduling transportation
Scheduling Logistics
Recording details
Quoting all deliveries
Negotiating best delivery rates

Planning transport routes
Transport planning for international deliveries
Container booking for international deliveries
Keeping records of container packing configuration
Booking local deliveries
Liaising with customers on deliveries
Maintaining truck dimensions to match quantities with trucks
Maintaining vehicle costs for local deliveries
Assisting stores with loading trucks and containers where necessary
Ensuring all paperwork is correct
Ensuring receipt of all POD’s and forwarding thereof to accounts
Keeping all international customs requirement information up to date including the dispatch of chemicals and compost
Use BBBEE preferred suppliers
Develop a team of transport SMME’s
Check and sign-off transport invoices
