Vehicle Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner.

• Conduct thorough needs analysis to recommend suitable vehicles based on customer requirements and budget.

• Present, demonstrate, and test-drive vehicles with clients.

• Negotiate pricing, finance, and optional extras to close sales.

• Prepare and process all necessary sales documentation.

• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to build relationships and generate repeat business.

• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics.

• Maintain a strong knowledge of all vehicle models, specs, features, pricing, and promotions.

• Coordinate with the finance and insurance department to assist customers with financing and insurance options.

• Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and ready for delivery.

• Maintain customer records in the CRM system and ensure all interactions are logged accurately.

• Participate in showroom events, promotions, and marketing campaigns.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential)

• Proven experience in automotive sales or a similar customer-facing sales environment

• Valid Code B Driver’s License

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• Target-driven with a strong work ethic and a passion for cars and customer service

• Competency with MS Office and dealership software (e.g., Kerridge, Automate, or similar CRM tools)

• High level of integrity and professionalism

Desirable Attributes:

• Certification in sales or automotive industry training

• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

• Strong closing ability and customer-focused approach

• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays

Working Conditions:

• Dealership showroom and vehicle lot environment

• Regular weekend and overtime work may be required

• Target-based commission structure often applies
