Vehicle Sales Assistant

SUMMARY:
Our client in Somerset West is looking for 5 driven and enthusiastic vehicle Sales Assistants to join their dynamic automotive sales team as part of a 12-month Programme.

Salary is R8500 + commission (once you are ready to start selling vehicles).

POSITION INFO:
This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn how the automotive sales process works, from customer engagement to vehicle delivery. Successful candidates will gain exposure to day-to-day dealership operations, assist with sales functions, and develop valuable professional, communication, and customer service skills.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• Valid driver's licence (non-negotiable)
• Previous experience selling cars is not a requirement, so its a great opportunity to get into the Motor/Automotive  Industry!
• It would be advantageous if you are currently studying towards, or have recently completed, a qualification in:
  • Sales and Marketing
  • Business Management
  • Commerce
• Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passion for the automotive industry
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment

• Assist sales consultants with customer enquiries and follow-ups
• Support vehicle presentations and test drive arrangements
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and leads
• Assist with preparing sales documentation, quotations, invoices and delivery paperwork
• Participate in dealership events, activations and promotions
• Conduct research on vehicle models, pricing and competitor offerings
• Assist with updating online vehicle listings and marketing content
• Learn to track and report on performance metrics such as lead conversions and sales targets
• Provide administrative support to the sales and finance teams
