SUMMARY:
Are you calling on the commercial sector, specialising in the sales of valves for all clients’ requirements?

It is essential that you have built up a lucrative customer base in the sector of Developers, Architects, Engineers and Subcontractors, that are all involved in new construction developments.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

Matric, with relevant Technical qualification – Advantageous
Proven experience in technical sales within the commercial construction
Essential to understand the need for the supply of valves
A strong network of developers, architects, and construction consultants is essential
In-depth knowledge of valves and piping systems – preferrable
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work independently and ask the relevant questions to obtain the clients exact requirements
Highly motivated and target driven
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback

DUTIES

Present, promote and sell valves to your customer base
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Salary: Dependent on experience.
