VRV Technician (Brackenfell, Cape Town)

Installation on residential, commercial and industrial HVAC Systems.

Ownership, by taking full responsibility for all installations of required job.

Management of assigned Technical Assistant.

Requirements:

Grade 12 minimum education requirement.

Possess a valid driving license for at least a motor car.

Responsibilities:

Ensure Company dress code is adhered to at all times when representing the Company.

Arrive at work / the office on time every working day.

Ensure the proper preparation and stock management is implemented before leaving the office to head out to a customer site.

Conduct oneself in the correct manner and in accordance with company prescribed standards.

Provide exceptional customer service and take due care to avoid damage to customer property.

Follow all reasonable instructions and requests issued by Team Leader, Project Manager or Site Foreman when working at customer premises.

Install and commission air conditioning systems and equipment as per job cards.

Identify maintenance risks on equipment.

Work overtime when required to do so by management.

Utilise all tools and equipment correctly and only use same for the purpose for which it was intended.

Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.

Keep daily logs and records of all job functions as required by management.

Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, product standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Wear the relevant personal protective equipment or clothing items as may be required by management with regards to health and safety

Comply with service standards, work instructions and customers'' requirements.

Assist with customer queries.

Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order.

Conduct thorough site clean up on completion of work at customer site.
