SUMMARY:
This role is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the CTO, to manage and do all of the planning for development of the company’s Platform as a service product called Skye. Development scope includes:

Building the company custom-built Generative AI based on RAG, LLMs and API based web searches and extensive customized prompting and training
Deep understanding of Asterisk / FreePBX and SIP / VOIP technologies

Job Information
The company specializes in providing remote labor and customer service solutions for a wide range of industries, predominantly from Hospitality, but also covering Insurance, Health Care, Rapid Response, and everything in between. More recently they have moved into SaaS, developing an AI platform called “Skye”, that offers a wide variety of modules from assisting customers with Skye Virtual Agent, to Skye Ticketing, to assisting the company own agents with Skye Companion, to name just a few of the modules.

The company is a fully remote company. The company has people who work from home all around the world, however the company operates on American Eastern Time. Whoever applies for this role needs to be ok working typical business hours of 9am-5pm M-F EST and EDT.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities and/or Accountabilities

Maintaining at least 1 year roadmap (4 quarters)
Maintaining development board to ensure at least 4 future sprints defined
Performance will be measured based on ticket completion on time and budget
Continual improvement to prompts and RAG Documentation
More human and realistic interactions.

Qualifications and Qualities:

Effectively create development tickets based on developer requirements
Translate customer requirements into development plans
Maintain and update project roadmap and meet all development deadlines NEED THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILL TO DO THIS ACCURATELY
Extensive experience with Generative AI and LLMs, with specific experience in RAG based systems and Agentic design
Ability to manage and make best use of small, dispersed development team
Ability to translate CTO vision into reality and communicate effectively to all stakeholders
Be able to diagram effectively to show various workflows for products and processes
Be very familiar with Agile process and TDD
Be a master of Checklists and very detail and process oriented to ensure that success is easily replicated, and processes are always able to be analyzed for improvement
Able to argue with superiors when disagree, present best case, and then support final decision 110%.
Should understand the business of software and platform development and understand that all development should have a direct return on investment.
Ability to both maintain steady focus on priorities and to deliver quick bespoke solutions based on sales opportunities.
