Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of mechanical plantroom layouts, piping systems, fabrication drawings, electrical control panel drawings, and manufacturing documentation for hot water generation and storage systems. Additional responsibilities will include:

Mechanical Plantroom Design & Drafting
Plumbing & Mechanical Systems Design
Electrical Control Panel Drafting & Control Systems
Vessel & Heat Accumulator Fabrication Drawings
Site Support & Project Coordination
Documentation & Quality Control

Qualifications

Multi-Disciplinary Drawing Office Practise (MDDOP) or similar

Skills

Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman
Software skills in AutoCAD
Highly Advantageous AutoCAD Electrical, AutoDesk Inventor, Revit MEP, SolidWorks, Plant 3D
Proven experience in commercial or industrial hot water systems
Experience in producing fabrication drawings
Experience in mechanical piping systems and plantroom layouts
Experience in reading and interpreting engineering specifications and technical drawings

Salary/Package

R25,000 – R30,000 per month
