Junior Software and Automation Engineer x 2 – Jhb/Dbn

POSITION INFO:

Our client is an automation solutions company.

You will be responsible for the following:

Control system software design and development
Control system hardware design (PLC/SCADA and networks) based on technical specifications
Design system architectures for new projects.
Modifications to existing PLC and HMI programs and fault finding
Developing new software for customer specific applications.
Develop technical documentation such as Design Specifications
Develop testing documentation and procedures.
Client facing factory acceptance testing
Onsite installation, testing, and process commissioning
Knowledge and adherence to design procedures

Min 2 years Automation, C&I/ Electrical experience
Appreciation of electrical, control & instrumentation technology
Software development
Profibus, Profinet network designs and installation
Well-developed computer skills with knowledge of Design Software Packages such as TIA Portal, WinCC, EPlan, Step7
