Unlisted Investments Analyst

Exciting opportunity for a young Private Equity / Unlisted Investments Analyst to join an alternative investments team. The role is strongly valuations focused, you'll be analysing and valuing unlisted companies. Role suits CA(SA) / part CFA or similar qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare insightful high quality valuations reports
• Conduct research into industry and market conditions in the areas entities operate
• Analyst market information and the entities to identify major valuation risks and drivers
• Present and discuss draft reports and produce leading edge research
• Research, write high quality marketing material

Requirements

• Minimum of CA(SA) or similar
• Working towards you CFA qualification, would be a plus
• Minimum of 1-2 years' ideally in the valuations and unlisted investments space
• Must have strong knowledge and understanding of valuations, accounting, macroeconomics
• Must have knowledge of financial instruments, valuation of financial instruments
• Highly analytical and numerate
• Interest in and reasonable knowledge of investment management, private equity and company valuations
• Passionate about business and the unlisted space
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communicator both written and verbal
• Self-starter
