Unit Manager (Frail Care)

SUMMARY:
Purpose of the position is to create, maintain and ensure a safe, caring and homely environment for the elderly.

POSITION INFO:

Duties include but not limited to:

• Manage the unit cost effectively
• Revenue Management
• Budgets
• Ensure a productive workforce
• Ensure compliance with statutory and organisation standards
• Service excellence
• Ensure & manage resident''s quality of care and safety
• Staff management (HR)

Requirements:

• Managerial training
• 3-5 years’ experience with the elderly (advantageous), hospitality experience and training experience
• Bilingual (English & Afrikaans)
• Exposure to gerontology and dementia advantageous
• 4 years staff management and recruitment experience
• 5 years training experience
