We are currently recruiting for a premier client of ours, a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-pressure drilling equipment, who is seeking two experienced Underground Fitters or Millwrights for a critical role with a key mining client in Welkom.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Trade Certificate (Non-negotiable)
- Minimum of 5 years' underground mining experience (Non-negotiable)
- Residing in or around the Welkom area (Non-negotiable)
- Valid medical fitness certificate for underground work
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on advanced drilling equipment
- Attending to and managing breakdowns promptly and efficiently
- Ensuring strict compliance with all safety regulations (MHSA)
- Managing underground stock levels and spares
- Completing accurate maintenance and inspection reports.
