Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating conventional machines, with CNC machining experience considered a strong advantage. You will be responsible for producing precision components to exact specifications and ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain centre lathes, milling machines, and slotting machines.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications accurately.
Perform precision machining operations to tight tolerances.
Inspect finished components to ensure quality and compliance with technical standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

Proven experience operating center lathes.
Experience with milling machines and slotting machines.
Red Seal Qualification is essential.
CNC machining experience will be an added advantage.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Grade 12
