SUMMARY:
A well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Germiston is looking for an experienced Turner to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Operate and set up turning machinery.
Read and interpret technical drawings.
Perform turning, facing, threading and related machining operations.
Select appropriate tooling and make machine adjustments.
Measure and inspect components using precision measuring equipment.
Ensure components meet required specifications and tolerances.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Meet production and quality targets.

Requirements:

Grade 12 / Matric.
2–3+ years' turning experience.
Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Good understanding of measurements and tolerances.
Experience using verniers, micrometers and gauges.
CNC turning experience will be advantageous.
Relevant technical qualification or trade certificate will be advantageous.
