SUMMARY:
Are you a talented finance professional looking for your next challenge?
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Treasurer to join our clients’ Finance Department on a maternity cover basis!

In this pivotal role, you’ll report directly to the Treasury Manager and ensure that all accounts are adequately funded, while maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external partners.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Cash & Liquidity Management: Ensure that both pay-out partners and internal teams have sufficient liquidity.
Cash Flow Forecasting: Assist in preparing short, medium, and long-term forecasts to identify funding gaps.
Surplus Cash Management: Help maximize returns on surplus cash flows while minimizing financial risks.
Bank Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with various banking and pay-out partners.
Reporting: Assist in report generation and support the Treasury Manager with financial risk management strategies.
Process Development: Contribute to developing policies, procedures, and controls.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the treasury team, ensuring goals are met through effective teamwork.
Problem Solving: Use strong analytical skills to resolve issues efficiently.

Key Requirements:

Grade 12 (Essential)
B.Com Accounting qualification (Essential)
SAICA Articles (Desirable)
3 years of Treasury experience (Essential)
Experience working in a multinational group (Desirable)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Familiarity with treasury systems (Advantageous)

Additional Skills:

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong time management and organizational skills
Analytical, problem-solver, and results-oriented
