POSITION INFO:

This role offers the chance to oversee high-profile, complex travel arrangements, directly contributing to an elite client experience and shaping operational excellence.

Duties:

Manage intricate and demanding VIP travel bookings across multiple channels including Spotnana and offline systems.
Serve as the primary contact for VIP clients, ensuring seamless communication and support.
Escalate issues promptly to ensure swift resolution and maintain service integrity.
Deliver tailored quotations, premium fare options, and bespoke travel solutions.
Maintain and utilise extensive knowledge of all relevant Global Distribution Systems (GDS), with specific expertise in Sabre.
Organise, prioritise, and manage workflows efficiently to meet client needs and deadlines.
Contribute actively to team meetings and operational discussions to support continuous improvement.
Escalate client concerns, service risks, or potential issues to supervisory staff.
Handle sensitive traveller data with the utmost discretion, ensuring compliance with GDPR, PCI, and health & safety standards.
Maintain detailed profiles of VIP travellers for personalised service delivery.
Monitor travel plans proactively, managing disruptions and providing real-time support.
Liaise with airlines, hotels, ground transport providers, and key stakeholders to ensure optimal arrangements.

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of business travel experience in a consultancy or similar role.
Additional language fluency in either French or Spanish
Working knowledge of GDS platforms, particularly Sabre.
Proven customer service excellence.
Strong organisational psychology foundation.
Advanced workflow management skills.
Excellent communication abilities.

Nice to Have:

Additional experience with other GDS systems.
Familiarity with luxury travel and VIP client management.

This role is a full time in office role, in Cape Town city.
