SUMMARY:
A Client in Durban- KZN is looking for a Technical Training Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for training, evaluation and assessment of learners.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Development of learning material and methods
  • Implementation and achievement of agree upon strategic objectives
  • Training, evaluation and assessment of learners and conducting of on the job training
  • Presentation of surface mobile machinery operator skills programmes
  • Address the requirements of Health and Safety Act, ensure Health and Safety adherence and alignment to ensure that targets are achieved
  • Follow assessment methodologies and conduct assessments as per ISO standards
  • Produce and maintain effective training results
  • Submissions of accurate training progress reports
  • Assess and Moderate on the following scope:
    • Skills programme in Operations Mobile machinery for Surface excavation Operations
    • ETDP statements of results for:
      115753 – CONDUCT OUTCOMES –BASED ASSESSMENTS
      115759 – CONDUCT MODERATION OF OUTCOMES –BASED ASSESSMENTS
      115755- DESIGN AND DEVELOP OUTCOMES –BASED ASSESSMENTS
 
Qualification required:
  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate or relevant NQL Level 4 Qualification
  • CETA / MAQ Registered Assessor and Registered Moderator on the following scope
    • Skills Programme in operations mobile machinery of surface excavation operations
    • ETDP Statements of results for:
      115753 – Conduct outcomes –based assessments
      115759 – Conduct moderation of outcomes –based assessments
      115755- Design and develop outcomes –based assessments
 
Experience required:
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in operating mobile machinery for surface excavations
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Construction and Mining Training discipline
Knowledge and skills required:
  • Must be proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Good Verbal and written communication in English
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Valid Code 08 Drivers License
  • Must Reside in KZN surroundings
