Training Manager (JB2512)
Area: Kempton Park / Gauteng  
Salary:  R45 000.00 a month

A well-established company that is the world market leader in assembly and fastening materials and currently consists of over 400 companies operating in more than 80 countries, is looking for a Shop Consultant to join their Team.  They offer over 6000 products which are delivered nationwide directly to our customers. The company services their customers through their 13 Express Shops, Online store, and Call Centre.

Minimum Requirements:
Matric or equivalent
Relevant Post Graduate qualification
Experience in training and team manage, design and facilitation
Minimum of 5 years practical experience in same industry as a Training Manager
Must be a certified Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) with ETDP qualification
Credible experience in liaising with several SETAs
No Criminal Record or charges
Clear Credit History
               
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that strategic training is provided, facilitate study needs through bursaries and including optimal utilization of digital learning.
Ensure that efficient and appropriate training service is professionally delivered.
Reduce and maintain low staff turnover through training interventions.
Plan and monitor departmental training budgets and/or costs.
Oversee and manage SD, LAI’s and ESD elements with regard B-BBE compliance
Ensure submission of skills plans, invoices, registers, and relevant documentation to WRSETA
Oversee and monitor training programs that include web-based seminars, digital learning, printed manuals, group sessions, training videos, and more…
Determine training needs through IDP’s, assessments and surveys in order to meet organizational requirements as well as perform regular evaluations to assess effectiveness of training interventions.
Review existing training materials produced by third parties to determine appropriateness and relevance in line with organizational goals and objectives.
Modify or create course materials and training manuals to meet specific training needs.
Monitor training programs and manuals to ensure that they are effective and up to date.
Work with managers to address learning issues, instruction problems, or new educational needs regarding specific employees or departments.
Manage costs for all programs/training, productions, and publications in order to report to organization executives regarding a return on investment
Liaise with relevant SETAs in terms of enrolling learnership and internship programs, reporting in terms of work skills plans and annual training, as well as ensuring accreditation with same.
Maintain understanding of new educational and training techniques and methods.
Manage the Internship and Learnership candidates, mentorship program and including Learn to Lead program. Self-inform through attending trainings/seminars/meetings in order to keep to industry norms and trends such as (WRSETA/SANAS/DTI/SAQA/QCTO etc.).
Responsible to ensure that sound administration and record systems are in place and maintained at all times.
Responsible to administer, compile and to submit ATR as well as WSP to relevant SETA.
Ensure accreditation of in-house training facilitators and training facility.
Collaborate with TVET colleges while ensuring brand exposure.
