Your primary focus will be managing and nurturing workplace relationships, ensuring successful learner placements, driving retention, and maximizing long-term employment absorption. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Workplace Sourcing & Matching: Implement activities to match learners with reputable, approved host employers that align with their qualifications and program objectives.
• Relationship & Liaison Management: Act as the central point of contact between host employers and the academy, ensuring hosts meet OHS requirements and maintain environments suitable for learning.
• Learner Monitoring & Support: Conduct regular site visits and check-ins to monitor learner progress, track attendance, and facilitate workplace readiness programs.
• Mentorship & HR Collaboration: Provide ongoing coaching, resolve student challenges, and collaborate with management to handle workplace HR issues or emergencies.
• Compliance & Administration: Maintain accurate student records on the Learner Information System (LIS). Ensure strict data integrity in line with POPIA, SETA, and QCTO regulatory frameworks.
• Reporting: Compile and submit detailed weekly and monthly reports regarding learner progress, risks, and workplace insights.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma or Degree. A Project Management Certificate is highly advantageous.
• Experience: * Minimum of 1 year of experience working within a learnership environment is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in workplace placement is preferred.
• Background or experience in Sales or Client Liaison is advantageous.
• Mobility: A valid Driver’s Licence and access to your own reliable transport is essential.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and experience managing databases and document systems (e.g., Google Drive).
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of SETA, QCTO, and relevant South African training and labor legislation.
