The Learning & Development & Quality (LD&Q) Department is primarily responsible for the monitoring and improvement of service delivery across the various operational and medical platforms in South Africa.

Through induction, training, evaluation and the new and existing staff are given the relevant skills to maintain and improve performance to the approved standard across the various sections of the Assistance Centre, Aspire and MedFit platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

· To drive top quality of service to International SOS’s clients and members, through the delivery and embedding of development activity as directed; from the core L&D service offering.

· Ensure that to new and existing staff members have the technical, functional and behavioural skills required for their roles.

· To represent and demonstrate best practice in operational delivery to their functional platform at all times.

· To be a custodian of our brand and our values, supporting a culture where people are motivated to learn.

· With strongly established relationships provides continuous feedback on the performance trends and training needs of individuals and the functional platforms to relevant stakeholders.

· Gives direction on what is communication, learning, operational and management needs.

· Makes learning recommendations as required to the relevant stakeholders to improve performance trends and training needs of individual and the operations /medical platforms.

· Completes Learning Support Request (LSR) in collaboration with function or admin manager.

Required Work Experience

· Delivery of training in a variety of settings.

· Design of training material.

· Previous education/training experience favourable.

· Previous experience working on functional platform favourable.

. OH&S experience.

Required Qualifications (Brief description of the educational background needed to perform the job)

· External qualifications in Learning and Development preferred.

· Tertiary educational qualifications preferred.

. Excellent English written and spoken.
