Traffic Manager

A media agency working within the health and safety arena is looking for a Traffic Manager. As a Traffic Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all client deadlines are met by actively managing the workflow of projects through a studio of 30 specialist creatives: writers, designers, illustrators and animators.

Duties include:

• Manage the flow of work (including the internal review process) across a portfolio of international clients to ensure all deadlines are met
• Develop timing plans with key milestones identified
• Track work against those milestones in the workflow management system
• Review all briefs and debriefs and task resources accordingly
• Keep the workflow management system and schedule up-to-date
• Actively chase completion of tasks against the schedule
• Actively liaise with different departments heads and other individuals to ensure everyone is aligned to what needs to be actioned
• Ensure timesheet completion
• Facilitate daily status and weekly planning meetings
• Regularly report to client service on timings and scheduling of projects
• Evolve and improve our internal process to maximise efficiency

Requirements:

• South African citizen
• 2+ years in agency traffic management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proficiency in workflow management platforms (ideally Magnetic)
• Excellent organisation skills
• Good people skills
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working remotely and managing studio resources remotely
• Being able to work under pressure and actively meet deadlines
• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to take ownership and responsibility of your work
• A positive attitude
