SUMMARY:
Calling all Red Seal Qualified Electricians in the Western Cape

POSITION INFO:

My client, a company, is seeking a competent and experienced Electrician to join their Engineering Department.

Location: Saldanha, Western Cape

Key Requirements:

Grade 12 with N6 and Electrical Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal) or equivalent qualification (NQF/RPL – SAQA).
±10 years’ experience in electrical installations, maintenance, faultfinding, and safety in heavy industry.
Wireman’s License advantageous.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Knowledge of overhead cranes, compressors, boilers, PLCs, and drives.
Valid driver’s license (standby duties required).
SA Citizens only
Must be Criminal Clear (No record)
Must reside in or close to Saldanha or be willing to relocate

Role Responsibilities:

Faultfinding and maintenance on electrical systems.
Wiring of panels according to standards.
Plant lighting and general inspections.
Electrical work on cranes, compressors, boilers, PLCs, and drives (SANS 10142 compliance).
Support plant optimization and smooth operations.
Willingness to work on shutdowns and perform standby duties.
