If you're ready to take your career to the next level, our prestigious law firm is looking for a Trade Credit Controller to join our dynamic team in Pretoria!

POSITION INFO:
What You'll Be Doing:

As our Trade Credit Controller, you'll be responsible for managing and optimizing our trade credit processes. Your key duties will include:

- Credit Management: Assess and manage credit risk by evaluating customer creditworthiness and determining appropriate credit limits.
- Accounts Receivable: Oversee the collections process, ensuring the timely receipt of payments and reducing outstanding debt.
- Credit Control Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate credit reports to track outstanding balances, overdue accounts, and cash flow projections.
- Customer Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to resolve any credit-related issues, negotiate payment terms, and address queries.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor and forecast cash flow related to trade credit, ensuring the firm’s financial stability.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate records are maintained in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies relating to credit management.
- CMS Integration: Assist in the integration of Case Management Systems (CMS) to streamline credit control processes and improve overall efficiency.

What We’re Looking For:

- Qualifications: A relevant qualification in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in trade credit control, accounts receivable, or similar financial roles.
- Bonus Points: Familiarity with CMS (Case Management Systems) will be highly advantageous.

- Skills & Attributes:

o Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
o Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software
o Excellent communication and negotiation skills
o Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
o A proactive approach to problem-solving and credit risk management
