Toolmaker

SUMMARY:
A leading plastic packaging manufacturer is looking for a skilled Toolmaker to join their team. Extensive knowledge of toolroom equipment, extrusion blow moulding and Injection & stretch blow moulding machines.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform repairs and maintenance on moulds.
• Manufacture and repair engineering components and other related items.
• Operate and maintain toolroom equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• Trade Test in Tool Jig and Die Maker (MERSETA).
• Minimum N2 qualification.
• 10 years of experience as a Toolmaker within the manufacturing industry.
• Extensive knowledge of toolroom equipment, Extrusion Blow moulding and Injection & stretch blow moulding machines

• Proficient in operating lathe and milling machines, and surface grinders.
• Strong understanding of fault-finding techniques and equipment testing.
