The world sees the finished product. You see every micron that made it possible.
Most people never think about the tool behind the component.
They don't see the precision, the craftsmanship, or the problem-solving required to transform raw steel into a production-ready die capable of producing thousands, sometimes millions, of perfect parts.
You do.
You understand that manufacturing excellence begins long before the press starts cycling. It starts in the toolroom, where experience, innovation, and attention to detail separate average from exceptional.
If you're the kind of Toolmaker who takes pride in building solutions that keep production running, who enjoys solving complex tooling challenges, and who understands that precision is a non-negotiable standard, we want to hear from you.
Your Mission
As a Tool, Jig & Die Maker specializing in Metal Pressings, you'll play a critical role in designing, manufacturing, modifying, and maintaining the tooling that drives production success. You'll be responsible for producing high-precision press tools, dies, punches, fixtures, and jigs while ensuring reliability, accuracy, and efficiency across manufacturing operations.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and manufacture press tools, dies, punches, and fixtures using CAD software such as Mastercam and/or SolidWorks.
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to produce precision tooling.
- Operate and maintain CNC machinery, wire EDM, spark erosion equipment, lathes, and milling machines.
- Modify, repair, and maintain tooling to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
- Construct and repair precision dies for press tool applications.
- Design and manufacture accurate jigs and fixtures that support production excellence.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing outcomes.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Trade Certificate in Toolmaking.
- Proven experience in press toolmaking and maintenance.
- Strong proficiency in Mastercam and/or SolidWorks.
- Extensive experience with CNC machining, wire EDM, spark erosion, and conventional machining techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- A relentless commitment to precision, quality, and continuous improvement.
Why Join This Team?
You'll be joining an environment where technical expertise matters, innovation is valued, and craftsmanship remains at the heart of manufacturing success. This is a career opportunity for a professional who wants to leave their mark on every component produced and every process improved.
Because great products are manufactured.
Exceptional products are engineered from the toolroom outward.
