Tool Maker

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Toolmaker with a strong background in plastic mould manufacturing to join our team in Meyerton. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Mastercam 2025 and a solid understanding of FANUC controls.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture, assemble, and maintain precision plastic mould tools.
• Program and operate CNC machinery using Mastercam 2025.
• Set up and operate machines with FANUC control systems.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tooling issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely project delivery.

• Proven experience as a toolmaker, specifically with plastic injection moulds.
• Proficient in using Mastercam 2025 for CNC programming.
• Strong working knowledge of FANUC CNC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Apprenticeship or formal qualification in toolmaking, machining, or a related field.
• National Matric Certificate.
