POSITION INFO:
Job Summary
- Provide service desk support to end users.
Key Performance Areas- IT support for end users
- Maintenance of IT network
Key TasksIT Support:- Resolve helpdesk tickets within SLA
- Provide telephonic and remote support
- Perform ad hoc tasks
Network Maintenance:- Set up hardware
- Install and maintain cabling
- Establish new networks
Work Schedule- Monday to Friday (08:00–17:00)
- Shift work (07:00–14:00)
- Standby shifts
Essential Qualifications- Matric Certificate
- A+ Certificate
- N+ Certificate
Essential Experience- 1 year in IT Support
- 1 year in hardware maintenance
- 1 year with operating/application systems
- 1 year in software management
- General experience with Linux and Windows
Desirable Experience- Practical use of IT maintenance equipment
Knowledge and Skills- Knowledge of electronic equipment
- Familiarity with helpdesk systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Linux software
- Excellent communication skills
- Telephone etiquette
- Remote technical support capabilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Experience with SharePoint
Salary: R 8 000 – R12 000
